Heather Michele Meyer

Heather Michele Meyer (Mac) made her professional debut as the Governess in The Turn of the Screw. A former Caramoor Apprentice Artist, her opera roles include the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Ellen Orford in Peter Grimes, First Lady in The Magic Flute, Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni. Her oratorio repertoire has included Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony, Poulenc’s Stabat Mater, and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle. Increasingly in demand as a specialist in the works of living composers, she has premiered and performed works by Jeremy Howard Beck, John David Earnest, Daniel Felsenfeld, Jennifer Griffith, Paula Kimper, Roxanna Panufnik, David T. Little and Kamala Sankaram. She has appeared with American Opera Projects, Center for Contemporary Opera, HERE Arts Center’s CultureMart, the NY Composers Circle, NYC Fringe Festival, and Paola Prestini’s Ferus Festival. Ms. Meyer is also a budding aerialist, training in silks, lyra, and pole fitness.
